We believe that meaningful education should be experienced, not simply described. Whether you are a parent, learner, educator, researcher, farmer, entrepreneur, architect, policymaker, or someone who is simply curious about alternative education, you are warmly welcome to visit DYIP.
Our campus is an open learning community where visitors are encouraged to observe, ask questions, participate in discussions, and experience how learning naturally happens through projects, community living, sustainable practices, and real-world problem solving.
During your visit, you may explore our learning spaces, farms, workshops, innovation labs, libraries, forests, gardens, community spaces, and sustainable campus systems. You will have the opportunity to meet learners, facilitators, volunteers, and members of the local community who together make DYIP a unique learning ecosystem.
Families considering admission are especially encouraged to visit before making any decision. We believe that choosing a learning community should never be based only on brochures or websites. The best way to understand DYIP is to spend time here, experience the environment, and have open conversations with our community.
To ensure every visitor receives adequate time and guidance, we request that visits be scheduled in advance by email. Once we receive your message, we will be happy to coordinate a suitable date and time.

Every unused object carries the potential to become a child's next discovery. At DYIP, we believe learning does not always begin with expensive equipment. Curiosity often begins by taking things apart, understanding how they work, repairing them, improving them, and creating something entirely new.
Through our JUGAAD LAB, learners explore science, engineering, design, mathematics, creativity, and innovation using real objects from everyday life. What may no longer be useful in one home or workplace can become an invaluable learning resource for hundreds of learners.
Instead of discarding items that are still usable or repairable, consider donating them to DYIP. Learners use these materials to investigate, experiment, repair, redesign, prototype, and invent practical solutions while understanding the principles behind how things work.
Before sending any materials, we kindly request that you email us photographs along with a brief description of the items. This helps us determine whether the materials are suitable for our learning spaces and allows us to plan storage and transportation more effectively.
